Celebrating sharing sweet nectar with all our little honeys & Mamas~
breastfed, bottle fed.
Each feeding journey is a unique story & a gentle reminder breastfeeding is a privilege.
To uphold the mana of our waahine, supporting Mama in her decision how she chooses to nurture with no judgement, with open ears and loving hearts
We can then sit in the cracking fires, allowing our stories to be told, to feel seen, to be heard, to be held.
When you have the honour to witness another Mama emerge from her chrysalis and spread her wings in a complete expansive way to rediscover herself yet again is true bliss.
In the everyday living that is where the magick happens.
You may have seen this milky goodness moment on our business cards
Feat our little Taaniko captured from our incredibly gifted sistar @photography_by_ria_
PS.. I will shout on the rooftops that I was able to breastfeed the Milky Way to this little titty girl ( literally her nickname ) who is now two.
I longed for that connection with my eldest who was unable to latch after a very traumatic emergency cesarean.
So here’s to all us Mamas
To the sleepless nights that feel like they are never going to end,
The grazed painful asf nipples that make you want to cry,
The tears, oh the tears, the loneliness
Tender swollen blocked milk ducts,
Leaking & stained shirts,
Having to sterilise and make endless bottles,
Pumping like the milk cows we are,
Or just walking around the whare feeling like your literally only a milking machine and you just want your body back to yourself for 10minutes.
Mama we see you!!
You are doing faaahkn amaaazing
Don’t ever let anyone else make you feel differently xxx
This is our Ūkaipō
