Healing the Sister Survival Wound

Every single one of us wāhine on this Earth has experienced the many deep cuts of the sister wound and her lashings of trauma.

These old age imprints are apart of our makeup and patriarchal lineage that we can continue to unconsciously perpetuate this wound generationally, environmentally and societally even though we are incarnated into a more freeing time of understanding and renewal.

In essence the sister wound manifests itself out of fear, judgement, insecurity, scrutiny, comparison, jealousy creating dis-ease & distrust.

An energetic language used to wield as a weapon to lacerate and bring other wāhine down.

You only need to observe and listen to the conversations that take place outwardly and how prevalent this embedded weapon is.

Activated through the trauma threads of our tipuna/ancestors, and long stems of childhood that steep into adulthood.

Healing these sister survival wounds is the only way as wāhine to move forward to cultivate peace and relinquish these cycles from continuing through to our mokopuna.

Sisters who are anchored in their power amplifies our own “Collaboration over competition”

We truly are our most fierce inner critics, our toxic traits and reoccurring patterns can be simply so self sabotaging.

The pain we carry from

womb to womb,

heart to heart

is our collective responsibility to heal and transmute these traits and behavioural responses we share together.

To starve the systems of oppression, and feed our villages of women to cultivate harmony and faith that resides deep in the fertile void.

* Sit and be honest with yourself, observe and feel the thoughts you are having give yourself the time and space to process

* When your inner critic is strong, be gentle and korowai yourself with loving words It takes time to nurture our thought patterns

* Be intentional who you allow into your space, call in your safe sacred village/hapu

* See with loving eyes, listen with gentle ears and speak with your beautiful heart

Give yourself permission to embrace all that you are, celebrating you.

Deeply acknowledging and loving every aspect of yourself.

You are worthy
